JG is going back to the playcaller he was in '07. Nothing but long-developing routes and calling on a suspect Oline to keep blockers at bay for longer than they should.

It probably doesn't help that Free is letting guys go within a millisecond of the ball being snapped, but still.

Dude needs to adjust his gameplan.

He needs to adjust his career plan.

He's fucking horrible as a play caller.

idk, he's being rewarded so far with it, not by performance, but some twisted seed implanted by aliens in Jerry's mind.

Seems he struck gold with this career choice lol

Clarence Hill ‏@clarencehilljr
Jason Witten cleared out his locker and didn't talk to the media after the game..after his second straight bad game

And this guy is one of our supposed leaders.

I hope he's putting money away because when he is done in Dallas he is going to have a tough time finding a QB coaching job let alone OC or HC.

Very bush league, Jason. You don't only talk to the press when things are going well for you. Face the music like a man.

Cardinal defenders are flying to the ball. I like the 2-4-5 defense Horton is utilizing. It's basically a 4-3 base nickel unit but he's getting his best and most athletic defenders on the field. It helps when your 2 D Linemen are Darnell Dockett and Calais Campbell.

Not much he can say, he was worse today than he was last week (and he was really bad last week)

Love the guy, but the coaching staff needs to shut him down until he is 100%. He is hurting the team badly right now by being out there.

I dont know what playcaller would succeed with the way this OL blocks.

It isnt playcalling. Its lack of any ability to block and in way too many instances, even get the snap off without a penalty. 6 false starts, are you shitting me?

On second thought, its probably better he didnt talk.

He would have just spewed the same empty cliches Garrett has instilled.

dumpoffs, screens, slants, that type of stuff that is built to beat a heavy blitz.

They've been impressive the first 3 weeks, definitely one of the surprise teams. Kolb (who was horrible in preseason and beaten out by Skelton) is shredding Philty's D

What I don't like is that Witten playing is a Witten decision. I think that by the same token, he should be taking himself out.

There's a fine line between being a leader and out there for your mates, and being out there, hurting them. And he's crossed it.

Did you see the lack of execution of the scnreen passes they did try? including the first play of the game?

They look like they dont even practice. They run into each other more than they do the opponents defenders.

There are plenty of coaches who have far less at OL and QB yet don't seem to struggle as much.

As far as OL+QB combo, unless you want to make the case that Dallas is bottom of the food chain, there is no excuse.

Oh, and case we're keeping count. The same asshole calling plays is the same asshole who ignored the OL.

Arizona
Philly
Detroit

to name a few.

They have QBs, but you get my point. Oline isn't the only thing holding us back on O.

That excuse would work for me if Jason was the OC only, but he's endorsing(supposedly) these shitty offensive lineman. He's supposedly bringing these guys in.

So far, his talent evaluation is only a rivaled in futility by his ability to make adjustments during a game.

Other than Tyron Smith, would any of the other 4 OL starters start anywhere else?

After what we've seen the last two games, its pretty doubtful.

Can you name any Detroit Oline starters? I think a 1st round pick of theirs 2 or 3 seasons ago is a backup for them.

There was some discussion here among those watching the game if Garrett was even paying attention.
