Yeah, that is a headscratcher. I'm not saying that the Cowboys should overlook these guys, but watching them against the Cardinals... I was underwhelmed.

Apparently it was because the Cardinals Defense is all pro. Because, ya know they held Dallas to just 13 a year ago. /nod

The Skins are always formidable defensively.

But that offense didn't scare me in the least. RG3's longest throw was probably that one to Garcon... which was about 15 yards in the air, and 70 YAC. The run game was the typical Skin run game. Lots of inside running chipping away some yards, and a lot of it coming at the end of the game. And the Saints D was shit.

If our press coverage and run D is on its game, I see them scoring their typical PPG average against us... 6 or so.

Sherman looked like a player to me last night as I was watching the cards/hawks game

Big loss for Seattle if he doesn't play

they are almost always a different team at home...I think we should win the game but absolutely wont be surprised if they give us a tough time

Tampa and Chicago wont be easy either, esp Chicago

This. I wasn't impressed either. Good analysis, Pep..pretty much exactly what happened

Yeah.

Putting a 40burger on NO in NO is impressive no matter how it happened. It's week one so who fucking cares long term we saw Spurrier's team do the same thing and then teams were like "Oh they're trying to run a college offense against us, that's enough" and it was over. But for today that was really impressive.

If you go back and look at the video bbgun provided, it appears that one of the Redskins' WR blocked/pushed the Saints' defender in the back, and that's what sprung Garcon. But also I mentioned, Garcon wa son the short side of the field, all that CB had to do was just jam him at the Oline.

So if we'd gone in and done that exact thing to the Saints, no one would be impressed? Okay, sure.

We've done it---not put 40 on the Saints. But we went into NO and beat them when they were better offensively and defensively, and at the time they were undefeated.

I was more impressed with our win against the Giants---a divisional rival.

Chicago concerns me a bit. I definitely hope we are 3-0 when facing them. However, they beat a young, and struggling Colts' team.

"The Tape" will be out soon on this gimmick filled offense. Then we will see exactly how talented Bob G. is.

Even after yesterdays near flawless performance, I'm not convinced either way.

Sounds like Russell Okung avoided major injury to his knee. Seattle left tackle has a bone bruise
