2012 NFL Draft Chatter...

This isn't about the 2012 draft, but I remember heading into the 2009 draft, getting into a big blowout over Missouri safety William Moore on CZ.

The detractors were going off about how big he was, and somehow that meant he was slow, or a Roy Williams the safety type. Turns out he's done pretty well so far in the pros. 7 INTs and 17 passes defensed the last 2 years. Throw in 3 forced fumbles.

He's still slow.

He's been painfully inconsistent though and part of a ssecondary that has been torched for basically 2+ years. He's got a few picks from being in the right place at the right time. He's also had several knuckleheaded penalties according to Falcons fans here.

Whoever drafts this kid has an excellent outside linebacker in the 3-4 or DE in a 4-3.

If we were picking later in the first I would love this pick.

I read a couple of sources to that effect. I doubt it's validity. They done let Manning go, and if they want to fill seats in that stadium, they better sign Luck.
