It's a simple strategy; just hype up every jag, and if one of them pans out, he can then come running and shouting as to how he knew it and was right.

Not really. The safety position sucks this year, so you have to search for value somewhere.

I'm having a change of heart on Dre Kirkpatrick. He may be the best safety in this draft. Looks to be the most impressive player on that Alabama defense.

Now that we know where Manning is going, and Luck and RG3 probably going 1 and 2, does anyone think that the Browns go for Tannehill at 4 or are they confident that McCoy is their man?

If they don't, then I'd assume the Dolphins would grab him at 8.

So, if you're the Cards (I know...Kolb) or Raiders at 13 and 17 respectively, do you make a play for the Bucs, Rams, or Jags pick? Could Tannehill seriously go #6?

Tannehill at four, There's a better prospect for the Browns there. They would be foolish not to get a blue chip player.

Well, then, if you're the Dolphins at 8 do you try to trade with the Vikings so you can get a QB?

Dolphins just signed Garrard.

If I'm them, I don't force the QB pick in round one. Instead, roll with Garrard this year, and let Philbin pick a QB in the 2nd or third who he could mold.

Just what Mid just said. Let Garrard at least fight it out with Matt Moore. I think Garrard can do enough this year to win for the Dolphins.

They might find a gem in the later rounds.

Many are hyping Dontari Poe as top NT, but he is not a NT & A. Ta'amu from Washington is the best true NT in the 2012 Draft.

if Ratliff can play NT for us, I'm sure Poe could.

wonder what happens if Tannenhill falls to us at 14

assuming DeCastro is gone, this is my 2nd "dream scenario"...trade down with most QB desperate team and pick up an extra 1st in 2013.

Why would a QB desperate team bother trying to trade up to our spot, when there isn't a realistic threat of another team targeting a QB from 14-29?

scenario like 4 is too high for Cleveland to take Tannehill but they feel he won't make it to their second pick(22).

Meh.

Odds are better that a team tries to leapfrog Philly for the right to draft Keuchly.
