- Ware is not better than Walden

Nice.

One thing I think both Green Bay and Pittsburgh does well is draft a WR relatively high in the draft almost every year. In today's pass-happy game I think that is incredibly smart.

Green Bay - Greg Jennings 2006 2nd, James Jones 2007 3rd, Jordy Nelson 2008 2nd, Randall Cobb 2011 2nd
Pittsburgh - Limas Sweed 2008 2nd, Mike Wallace 2009 3rd, Emmanuel Sanders 2010 3rd (I realize Sweed didn't work out)

And dont forget my guy Antonio Brown.

And thruthfully I dont think Jordy Nelson is special or anything. He stands there and Rodgers gets it to him. Cobb OTOH is a different story.

I think Garrett wants a true slot WR in his offense. The Cowboys have gone with almost exclusively big, strong WR's since Terry Glenn retired. I think there was a chance they take Edmund Gates is Murray wasnt the pick in R3.

My gut tells me it will be Harris and not Ogletree when its all said and done.

They keep playing offense like that, and nobody can keep up with them.

Almost no team plays offense like that every week though, and in spite of how good they were offensively they were pretty much a couple of dumb play calls away from giving up almost 50 pts and losing.

I still havent figured out if I want to watch the Red zone channel or just settle in to a nice Bal/Pit and Stl./Philly groove. I feel like with the red zone channel you lose the narrative of a game and are just watching highlights . I think its best if you dont have a clear go-to game.

I'm going to check out the Rams/Eagles game.

I love how on the opening week, I can watch the Eagles, Giants, Redskins, and then Cowboys all play in succession.

I've never watched the Red Zone channel, and I'm not even sure if I get it. I don't have an interest in just watching highlights, like you say. If I'm going to watch a game, I want to really follow it.

Can't wait till Ogletree is gone. Just need him, Bradie, Newman, and Brooking gone and I'll be happy with this roster.

Never cared for him as a player until this preseason.

All the guy does is work hard. He realizes he is not as blessed with natural talent, so he works harder to put himself on an equal playing f
ield. It wouldn't surprise me if Holley finished as the number three guy this season.

A good weekend would consist of...

Giants over Redskins (by more than 3.5)

Rams over Eagles

Cowboys over Jets (or at least within 4.5 if they lose.)

The Eagles won't lose to the Rams. Stop fantasizing. This game will be a blowout.

I'd add Bears beating the Falclowns to this list. I live here in Atl and hate this team and their fans.

Is there a lot of Mark Richt backlash right now? I realize Atl probably has more Georgia Tech fans but I'm guessing they still have a ton of Bulldog fans. They were playing some clips of some angry Georgia fans calling in to bitch about Richt.
