Is there a lot of Mark Richt backlash right now? I realize Atl probably has more Georgia Tech fans but I'm guessing they still have a ton of Bulldog fans. They were playing some clips of some angry Georgia fans calling in to bitch about Richt.

Most of Atl is Georgia fns, Ga Tech has a smaller (but loyal) following here. Athens is only an hour from Atlanta.

Yeah there is alot of anti- Richt sentiment. I dont see how he survives another season like last year. He's a super nice guy, but he isnt getting it done anymore and hasnt for quite some time.

I hate 9/11... all this remembrance is self-serving. We will eventually forget just like we have forgotten Pearl Harbor and the Holocaust.

Wow just wow.

If you have personally lost anyone from any of those horrid events, you will never forget. If you don't like the tributes, that's fine, don't watch them. Just don't belittle something that may have devastated someone else's family.

I mean we as a people, not we as individuals. Individual suffering lives on but as a people we are clearly over this event until we have the opportunity to exploit it and show everyone how good we are at remembering.

I'd love to not watch the tributes but that would mean not watching football today. I despise the NFL for what they are doing to abuse this weekend.

I'm from New York and know a lot of people affected by these traggic events. One of which lives in my hometown.

To say something like that Cythim is absurd and heartless.

Their top 3 picks are all inactive.

Noticed Robert Quinn was inactive for the Rams, anyone know why? He had one pretty good game in the preseason that I saw.

I know people were were affected also, and they remember every day instead of when it becomes convenient to remember. I appreciate the stories from those who were affected (I read a great about about those in the airline industry who were directly affected) and ESPN has done a great job of carrying the story today without letting it become about them.

My problem isn't remembering, it is the fact that so many make a show of remembering for their own gains. Of all the leagues playing games this weekend, no one is making as big a deal about it as the NFL is. Do you think they have anything planned for the 70th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, or is that not as important to remember anymore?

So your theory is the NFL is paying tribute to 9/11 for their own gain?

Dude, you really are the most retarded person in this forum. Maybe any forum.
