I think most people have rightfully hated Jerry ever since he ran off Jimmy. It has been a dysfunctional shitshow since then. Even the Super Bowl XXX season was filled with drama, and then it has been downhill ever since. Yeahhhhhh. Balla.

Gee. 10 year anniversary of 9/11 when the Patriots won their first Super Bowl, and now we have a patriot-Giants (repping the city that was hit by 9/11) Super Bowl.

not doomed, but hopefully just starting the process of doing things the right way.

If they wake up and face reality and tackle it head on instead of the usual we are one player away approach we should be ok in a few years.

I was happy about the Callahan hire but now I am not so sure. We need younger coaches. Not these tired old men. Is it any wonder that most of opur penalties came form the Oline and secondary?

"Personally, give me Romo with the Giants coaching staff, GM and management. Oh the places we'd go! #cowboys"

I am watching the score.

they showed a clip from this mornings jason garrett show where babe asked garrett if he thought they are close because we beat sf and almost beat the giants and pats.

jason responded with a yes we are a close we need to get a little better. So I imagine this is something that will be shoved down our throats for months now.

oh and bill jones pointed out that from 60-95, 35 seasons we played in 16 nfc championships and since 96 we have played in none. that is so sad.

I basically have been depressed to the point of not caring for the first time since campos second season since we lost to the giants.....it feels the same way like there is no real chance we are a contender anytime soon.

We were close. The huge difference is that this team almost always finds ways to lose. I think it's the overall lack of accountability, this environment that Jerry has created. The only times we were on the right path is when we had real accountability. Players knew that they were accountable to Jimmy and Parcells.

yep. there is no doubt about it, the structure was torn down as soon as the man left.

afterall, who wants to walk on eggshells? especially when your pt barnum and want nothing but attention for stuff you had no part in.

sell sell sell.

This team isn't close. This team is closer to a Campo 5-11 squad than a Bill Parcells/Wade Phillips 13-3 team.

Only thing that keeps this team from picking in the top 5, Mr. Tony Romo.

4 players on D at at least 1 interior OL player. We are 5 very solid players away.

Well when you have a player like Mike Jenkins who comes out and says that he is "going back to the basics because the coaching staff allowed them to do whatever they wanted", that right there was a major red flag. This happened on Garrett's watch.

Romo is one of the reasons why we are not in the playoffs.

I think that had more to with Jerry imposing Campo on Garrett and this team. Hopefully Henderson will get more out of these guys. A new starting LCB and FS would help too.

Don't agree. Romo played his ass off this year especially after each fuck up. After the Jets debacle he played through broken ribs to beat the 49ers. After the Lions nightmare he was one of the only players who showed up weekly. If we had a capable replacement I might, MIGHT agree but the drop off from Romo to McGee or a random free agent QB is pretty significant.

Players are going to fuck shit up from time to time.

The red headed fuck cost this team two wins with his stupid decision making and clock management.

Romo was no less than the 5 best QB in the league this year.

I can live with the coaches putting the players in a position to win the game, and then rolling the dice and hoping that the pro athletes get the job done. Both Harbaugh brothers were failed by guys like Kyle Williams, Cundiff, and Lee Evans today. Parcells was failed by Romo's lack of execution on that snap.

That's a whole different story than Garrett failing his players by costing them games. And Romo has won us manyyyyy more games than he has cost us, so I'm willing to live with his errors. This team would be back to 5-11 right now if Romo didn't exist.
