Fuck it we won the game. It's tough winning on the road. Especially against a division rival.

Yep, this is the bottom line. A loss would have been disastrous for us but we were fortunate to win the game and get to 6-4.

Like Moose metnioned during the game. In 1989 we won once, and it was at RFK against a much better Redskin team. In 1993 they smoked us in the season opener, we won the super bowl and they ended up in last place. And in 1995 we lost 4 games, and 2 of them were to a 4-12 Redskin team.

I wish we would have played better, but its a W so I'll take it.

Spenser has to step up and provide that when Ware is getting triple blocked and tackled. Can’t do it by himself. That play action throw over the middle drove me nuts. I do not agree with you that the Cowboys offense was any better. Cowboys had 50 less yards than their season average. Running game wasn’t that good and the pass game was out of sync. Everyone looked confused the whole game. Romo made plays by playing sandlot football.

The Redskins have a good defense, give them some credit for that part. The 27 pts we scored were the 2nd most they've given up all year.

Not having Fiametta killed the run game. Its been that way every game he has been out. Hopefully he'll be back Thursday for Miami.

It's only tough when you show up half-assed. Division game or not. This was inferior team and we failed to dispose of them as such.

I missed the second half. I went out to get some supplies at halftime for the party I'm throwing for my next door nieghbor.

Rick is being deployed to Afghanistan and it's the least I could do.

Some sad news as well. The old man whose tire I changed coming home from church got into a wreck and died when his tire fell off. Me being as strong as I am I tightened the lug nuts too tight. His tire broke off and he swerved into oncoming traffic, killing an entire family.

I doubt you're as dumb as you sound.

The defense is Rob's responsibility, so don't you think the fact that they don't know their assignments is Rob's fault? Garrett can preach the idea of knowing your assignments all day long, but it's the coordinators job to make sure that they are doing it.

Either Rob isn't, or his scheme is just too complex right now for most of the defenders to get and he needs to adjust it accordingly.

It's amazing though that I can carry sound across the Internet just by typing. Thanks for pointing that out. Nice site btw.

He hasn't done it yet, are you expecting him toturn it on now? You would think that with him in a contract year, that he would be giving much more of an effort. However, I'm glad that we are seeing this out of Spencer so that we can let his ass walk after this season.

Well the bitch needs to get his shit together and suck it up. I'd like to re-sign him but so far he's shown that he cannot stay healthy for any length of time.

The skins were missing their best player in Landry. Grossman is a hot and cold player. He has been known to have some pretty good games. Give him some credit too. Last time we played them it was a close game. They match up well.

Not having Fiametta did make a big difference.

Apparently he's REALLY sick though. I dont think its something where the guy has a cold and a few sneezes.

Spencer doesn't lack effort, he just lacks talent.

Other than a few sporadic flashes here and there, and the 2nd half of the 2009 season he hasnt shown anything.

I really thought he might flourish in Ryan's schemes, but he hasnt. He has been a pretty big zero most of the time as a pass rusher, and thats what he was drafted to do.

You can't read.

I said Garrett, being the head coach, is ultiimately responsible for every player on the team. He's not just the OC anymore.

He needs to make sure his team is ready to play.

Assignments aren't even being discussed by me. I'm talking about players coming out flat and uninspired.

Is that not what everyone claims Garrett is great at? Inspiring his players, paying attention to detail?

He's a whole lot of hot hair, and that hot air probably smells like armpits/pizza/beer/hot wings, but what does that have to do with the team as a whole being the responsibilty of Garrett?

dbair didn't see a flat team, I did. Looked like a bunch of weekend warriors playing flag football until late in the second half. Nobody was on the same page.

That has to do with preparation, imo. Garrett's strongest point, allegedly.

shhhh

It's not Garrett's job to prepare the Defense, it's hotshot Rob's.

Its every coaches job to prepare the team, not just one guy.

We didnt play great today but got a tough win on the road vs a team that was playing inspired football. Its beat the shit out of a loss.

It's Rob's job to install his defense and make sure his guys know it. Yeah. No shit.

Garrett has no responsibility for anything but the offense? Really? Why do we need a head coach then?

You have it all wrong.

Head Coach/OC= only responsible for offensive players. He doesn't even know the names of the players on defense or special teams.

Once you exaggerate the battle is already lost.

The HC with no defensive background doesn't prepare defenders for their assignments. That's all on the D coaches.

I guess Garrett should walk around to each defensive player, give them a mean stare, and check their homework.
