I don't give Garrett a pass when HIS players come out flat and play down to competition. He's responsible for the whole team and the way they play. The way they prepare. He's not just the OC anymore. He's the head coach.

I'm not going to dwell on all the shit that went wrong today or whos fault it is. We won.

Yay.

I thought Rob Ryan was the motivator guy?

I didnt think they looked flat. They played hard. The Redskins just were never given a reason to quit. The game totally changed early in the first half when Romo missed that gimmee TD to Robinson.

The defense was really bad today. No excuse to give up that many tds to a really awful offensive team, especially that last one. Letting the other team go the length of the field for a game tying TD is bad defense.

Ultimately thats all that matters, even if it was a rather fortunate win.

Defense shit all over itself late in the game and in OT, but at least their FG kicker blew it. Romo made more plays in the 2nd half than he did in the first and our FG rocks.

Of course the offense had a chance to put the game away in the 4th quarter. Defense was once again put in bad situations. I don’t think the offense was any better than the defense.

And that's always been a problem when we faced the Redskins. Playing down to the competition is bad when you have a team that hates you as if you raped their mother. Cowboys still have this attitude that because it's the Redskins all they ahve to do is show up. You see how the Redskins celebrated every score as if they made a score in the Super Bowl. I would for once like to see the Cowboys INTENSITY match the TALENT and just roll over these fuckers. Aw well... we got the sweep.

If AOA sucks that bad on returns and can't beat out Alan Ball as corner, he's useless.

No it was not really bad. You are just bias for whatever reason. How many drives did the Skins offense start on the Cowboys side of the field? Defense spotted the Cowboys offense a turnover in their own territory. Yes, once again the Cowboys D couldn’t close the deal. Newman was terrible for whatever reason. I am sure the stats prove it wasn’t as bad as you suggest.**

** Total Yards, Cowboys 353 vs Skins 336

Sure it was. It was alot better. They scored 24 pts on the road against a good defensive team and had the lead, then pinned the other team deep. Defense gave up 24 pts to a team that had scored 1 offensive TD in something like the last 4 games. Thats bad.

Its not all his fault, Spencer is a nothing out there most weeks and needs to be replaced. It doesnt help when he shoots off his mouth and talks about the guy having a breakout game and then doing nothing though. The safeties dont make hardly any plays vs the pass, thats why they tore up the middle of the field today. They need upgrades there, at OLB opp Ware and probably need another DL.

Ah no they didn't dbair. They didn't play as lethargic as against the Eagles, but they didn't play as hard as they should have. JMO. I don't know if they are hungover from last week's blowout. They don't have time to rest though. The Dolphins are coming and appear ready to play.

Like I said in the otehr thread, no matter how good the CB's are they cant be expected to cover forever, especially on routes down the field. We have absolutely no pass rush at all on the vast majority of passing downs.

Is it just Rob Ryan and Wade that make Grossman look all-pro against us? Where do the players factor in?

He's a whole lot of hot hair, and that hot air probably smells like armpits/pizza/beer/hot wings, but what does that have to do with the team as a whole being the responsibilty of Garrett?

dbair didn't see a flat team, I did. Looked like a bunch of weekend warriors playing flag football until late in the second half. Nobody was on the same page.

That has to do with preparation, imo. Garrett's strongest point, allegedly.

Yep, this game worries me. Hopefully we'll see a sharper team Thursday

dbair did you see Newman get turned around at the snap by Anthony Armstrong, so that he had to hold??? These DBs were getting turned around from the get-go. Sensy was letting guys passed to him run right past him!

Please, don't use cliches.

Fuck it we won the game. It's tough winning on the road. Especially against a division rival.

Spenser has to step up and provide that when Ware is getting triple blocked and tackled. Can’t do it by himself. That play action throw over the middle drove me nuts. I do not agree with you that the Cowboys offense was any better. Cowboys had 50 less yards than their season average. Running game wasn’t that good and the pass game was out of sync. Everyone looked confused the whole game. Romo made plays by playing sandlot football.
