We are friends... right?
So, you want the Bears to win right?I think I want the Lions to win. Bears will drop 5 or more games this year. I think we'll be battling Detroit for a wild card spot. And they have a tie breaker on us, obviously.

How has Gerald McCoy been in Tampa?
I remember there was a lot of huffing and puffing over whether he or Suh should go 1st overall.
I might be in the minority here, but I actually think Suh has been playing pretty decent since he came into the league.
I'm saying that if several players at different positions (CB, OT, RB, LB, DT, etc) WITH APPROPRIATE VALUE are available at our draft pick, we take QB. Conversely, the Packers would pass on that QB and draft for a different position.
If we need to trade up a couple spots - like we did for Anthony Spencer and Dez Bryant - I'm all for it.
I'm not advocating drafting a 5th-round value QB in the 1st round if that's all that is available.
Calvin Johnson is decent.
All I'm saying is I wouldn't. I'm not burning a first round pick on some schlub QB that has a first round grade just because of his position. Look at some of the dorks that have went in the first round the past few years.
If he is a legitimate stud that falls, ala Aaron Rodgers I could see it. Luck and Landry are the only two I'd condider as of right now in the first round. And they'll both be long gone.
Romo can and will be a good/great QB for us for another 4-5 years. Will he still have some f ups? Yeah. But if our coach learns to play within the game, our QB will follow right along. We're putting a team together that can win. And I think Romo will adjust right along with that. For too long, he's had to carry us. Even when we had a great offense, our defense blew. Now our defense is catching up to the offense. I think Romo is still of the mind he has to do it all. Make the spectacular play because we've relied on it for so long. Garrett needs to manage the game, too. Not just Romo. He is the HC afterall. Throwing deep outs and fly patterns when you have double digit leads late in the game is not smart football. Both Romo and Garrett are to blame for that. But the coach is the final authority on stopping it.
