Also, I'm not suggesting we bail on him, a la cut him. I'm saying we need to bring in a high draft pick (three or above), and have the rook spend a year digesting our system and giving Romo serious competition for the starting job in 2013. Something like that.

I don't want to reach for a player. We'll likely be picking between 20-25th this year. Landry Jones and Andrew Luck will be long gone.

Is Barkley or another QB worth taking there?

Is there a player there that we really like at a position of need?

It's way to early to consider the draft at this point.

I just want to be prepared for Romo's replacement, such that when it is needed, we're not starting reaches and experiments.

Who says I hate Romo? Just like the idiots over at CZ, you can't dissect a player's game and point out flaws without being slapped with the "hater" term. I can't wait till that CZ idiotness washes off you guys.

Is Romo very good? Yes.

Does he make way too mistakes that a very good QB shouldn't be making? Again, yes. Not "hating", just the facts.

btw, don't ever lump Romo in with Vick and Eli Manning. That's just retarded, as one is average and the other is still pretending to be a QB.

The only QBs who have displayed that they have what it takes to win a Super Bowl are those who have won the Super Bowl. The ones who haven't won a Super Bowl have not displayed that they have what it takes to win the Super Bowl. Good stuff.

Do you have a link to a post where someone has "dissected" Romo's game? All I've seen is a bunch of reactionary group-think. I'd like to see some real analysis, something more than "omg he sucks," or he's not "championship caliber..."
