The only shot this thread has at reaching 1K is having a late game start. After we get blown out we'll have 4 or 5 posts in this thread. At least we'll get 3 or 4 posts in from the early games.

Why would Charlie Weis leave the NFL as an OC, and go back to college to do the same job?

We will ever see a QB era like we did in the 90s again?

Marino, Elway, Montana, Aikman, Young, Moon, Favre, Jim Kelly, Mark Brunell, Phil Simms, Boomer Esiason, Drew Bledsoe, etc.

Outside of Manning and Brady, I honestly believe most of the starting QBs in the NFL today would be backups in the 90s. As much as players get bigger and stronger every year, I see them as watered down talent.

That could be because I grew up mostly in that era and learned to love the game from watching those guys, I dunno.

The Big 10 is looking pretty weak this bowl season. They are 2-5 now with both wins coming against the Big 12.
