Someone is taking Cam Ward in the first, Shaduer goes in the second? That's two teams not in the running for QB next year.

I'll have my pick at 12 plus the one you gave me for Paraons. This team has needs now.

Sanders wont prevent anyone from picking a true franchise QB next yr if they fall in their lap.

EDIT- Unless Deion leaves Colorado to coach whatever team his son is on, then he's guaranteed to play no matter what. Which is one of the main reasons I really didnt want Deion as HC here. As stubborn as Jones is with Prescott, Deion will be every bit as stubborn and ignorant with his kid.

Whoever drafts Cam Ward (assuming he goes in the top-5) will obviously give him every chance to be the guy, but nobody else in this draft would prevent a QB needy team from passing on one of the higher rated guys next yr.

I just want to make Parsons as attractive as possible because I believe he's the guy that once he gets the big bag, he'll slack way off. I don't want to be the one to give him the big bag. I'm overpaying my QB1 already.

I'm just going to try really hard to unload him and I'm prepared to be generous. I'd open asking the world for him, as you suggest. And I'd let them think they did a work on me letting me keep my 12 get their 1 and their highest 2 next year. And I'd be very happy. I want to offload this guy.

With Myles Garrett getting 40 mils per yr, the Jones-tards should be stepping up efforts to at LEAST explore moving on from Parsons.

His trade value will never be higher. Crosby and Garrett are off the market now and even though the Bengals put Trey Hendrickson on the market his value is nowhere near what Parsons is because of age and perception.

If they could get two 1st rd picks and a couple other picks thrown in (or more) I'm all over moving him as long as it's not a bottom of the first rd type scenario.
Just logged in to comment on this news. The Browns are insane. Watch: Garrett will be hurt and miss the entire season.

As far as moving on from Parsons, I can see it. It's not going to happen because of who Jerry is. But certainly everyone should be tradeable for the right price. The price might be set sky high, but if a team gives you that price, why not?

IMHO, the Browns might have been better off trading Garrett, taking Abdul Carter, and signing Cousins. They would probably still end up with Jaxson Dart or even, depending on how it went, Sanders.

As far as the Cowboys and Parsons, I've lost all hope of creativity. I see the Rams, Seahawks and more trying to be creative. Try to dump cap here, add picks there, move this over there.

Can you imagine Jimmy Johnson ever saying, "We won't be aggressive"? Jimmy would be aggressive, even if it ended up screwing it all up, and then continue to be aggressive to fix it.

I get back my draft investment in Parsons and in fact double it, and get the higher second next year. I want to make him especially attractive. I understand where you're coming from going strictly by the grades.

I'm using my 1 next year to trade up and target a QB.
Not a bad plan, but at this point, I have no idea who the QBs would be. Any true franchise types in the draft?

Sit Dak's ass down and force him to accept a trade and another restructure to make it palatable for the other team.

The only wrench to all of this is that if we do get lucky and get Jeanty, Jeanty is going to make Dak look good and Jerry won't move on.

But with a 17 game season, we need more than Jeanty and I don't think Rico Dwodle is it. How about a big boy, maybe in round 5 if he is there, like Paul Mafah 6'0 and 234 pounds), as a compliment?

I'd say round 4, but...

Bell (and Juanyeh Thomas) both had outstanding preseasons last yr on defense, then hardly saw the field under Zimtard

Wilson and Hooker are both complete zeroes on defense and are awful down field in space.

Dak was gracious enough to restructure, so we are currently at about number 10 in salary cap room. Hey, it's something. But I'd bet he didn't give up an actual penny and might even get more on the back end.
He didn't. And he actually didn't have to agree to anything from what I read, the clause was something the Cowboys could automatically activate.

The restructures are baked into the pie. Dak just gets a big upfront check every time.
