I never said every opinion was the right one, but when you're dealing with something that isn't definite, you can't be wrong in how you feel about a particular issue.
Winning a Super Bowl is a yes or no deal. There is no grey area. Yes, you can be wrong in how you feel about a particular issue.
Since we're asking questions.. if someone told you that they feel that Tony could still win a super bowl with us because we have a solid team around him and he's still a good QB with a solid coaching staff around him.. are you saying that person is flat out wrong?
Many times comments made by fans are so vague and wishy washy. Nobody wants to actually make an opinion because they fear having it rubbed in their nose, as you say.
You couldn't possibly say that, because we don't know the outcome and whether you make your guess one way or the other.. its still a guess based on available information. Whatever side ends up being correct, its not like they knew it would happen. They made a reasonable guess.. same as the other side.. and luckily thier outcome is the one that occured. Neither side will be able to claim they "knew" it and "knew" the other side was wrong all along. That's just retarded.
Yes, opinions are formulated with the available information you have. If you already know something, then an opinion or judgment wouldn’t be needed. If this was 6:30pm on Sunday and i said Newman would have an INT (after watching him do a pick6 on tv)...that is no longer an opinion, but a fact.
btw...you haven’t voted yet lol
