No, they don't.

Right now, the minimum salary for rookies is somewhere around 400k. Typical 3 year window in the NFL to make money, and that's supposed to somehow cover ridiculous medical costs for the rest of your life because that is sooooo fucking much more than normal people (whose earning potential lasts for decades) make? no way. And most of the 18k players who are currently out of the league didn't make anywhere near that money.

So when they get out of the NFL they're invalids and can no longer work like the rest of us?

You lose yourself so much in your own self-appreciated dumbassedness you fail to think clearly.

If they are on a minimum rookie contract, they ain't gettin hit all that much so not much need for OMGSCARYCONCUSSIONS!

If they are not, then they are not making rookie minimum, in which case they can afford to pay for their health care.

Your assertions are that rookies that only make 400k for their career will need this additional cost recovery.

I'm sure even your dumbass knows that this is bullshit.

Right.

Because someone on a rookie contract hasn't been getting hit their whole life that only started in the NFL good call.

So the nfl, is finically responaibilty for all damage an nfl player sustains ever, in his life, even of he is doesn't do any of it while in the nfl.

Of course he is. The guy is the epitome of a troll. No matter what the subject, he ALWAYS argues the most inflammatory angle he can think of. Why you guys even give him the time of day is beyond me.

As for this subject, he's crying they don't make more than the avg joe? Really? He even said the rookie minimum was 400k or whatever. Over three years, that's 1.2 mil. I'd like to see the avg joe that makes that kind of scratch. And notice he totally ignored the point that these players could still work after being in the NFL for that short amount of time. Trying to make it look like they have to live the rest of their lives on the money made while in the NFL. Guy is nothing more than a played out boring internet schtick.
