Romo had plenty of talent around him for the vast majority of his time here. He also had exceptional WR's and a HoF TE in his prime, and good enough RB's.

I don't hate Romo, he's to be commended from going from an undrafted free agent to quality long term starting QB. But he was also mistake prone, was criticized numerous times by his own teammates for getting pass happy and was not a leader in the locker room. He was more than happy to bang hot chicks, make gobs of money and be "one of the guys". Winning was not his priority and it showed. He also was more than happy to have the Red Headed Goober (one of hus best buds) as the HC even though it was obvious to all he was not a winner either.

Good player, but also a guy that the fan base made tons of excuses for every season.

I've always concluded on Romo, he did very well for himself. And now Dak has the exact conclusion.
