During his whole career he has been an inaccurate passer more than 80% of his passes were all receivers making good catches from poorly thrown balls. That's why now for the past two years, the majority of his passes are 5 to 10 yards, even that dork knows any ball he throws over 20 yards he becomes a train wreck.

I never said he was anything like Aikman but he was far better than he is today. It isnt just the blatant inaccuracy this year either, it's the really concerning lack of velocity on the ball, he throws a ton of floaters. His throws also wobble more than they ever did and there is definitely a much higher frequency of uncatchable balls. His mechanics were never upper echelon either, but this year his footwork and weight transfer are just off the charts bad.

Not that I like giving Jones credit for anything, but the brand was kind of shit when he took over the team in 1989. Lousy ownership that everyone hated, limited talent or marketable name talent and horrendous on field results had made them a complete non factor in league circles. They were not on National TV much and Texas Stadium had tons of no shows.
