Well lets just see what 240 million total and 60 mils per yr, becoming highest paid player in league history gets us:

1) Zero Super Bowls
2) Zero Conference Championship Game appearances
3) Currently the 25th rated QB in QB Rating at a lousy 85.5
4) Also a miserable 25th in QBR at 48.9
5) Tied for 2nd in the league with most interceptions
6) Leads the NFL in redzone turnovers
7) Miserable 23rd in comp % at 63.4%
8) The comp % and yds per attempt numbers are both the 2nd worst of his career, behind only his 2nd season.
9) Carries a cap charge of 89.9 million for the 2025 season, 30% of the projected cap
10) The only good news? As bad as the contract is, he could potentially be cut after the 2025 season (post June 1) as he has no guaranteed salary for 2026, 2027 or 2028

Unquestionably the worst personnel decision in the history of the franchise.

jeri is such an idiot, he wont let a single coach get one iota of leverage over him in a contract but when it comes to the players, he loves to take it Diddy style and then brag about it

The NFL is less enjoyable than it was in the 90's or the 70's for me.
me too, zero excitement, at least Brady and the Pats were compelling to watch and had good rivalries with Peyton, the ravens, steelers, seabags. Loved the steeler/raven defensive wars too

I cant remember the last time I was drawn in by some intense rivalry creating a big game

70's, 80's and 90's football was great. Trash since then and especially the last 10 years or so

Completely lousy product on the field
These players are paid way too much fucking money, the caliber of today's QB's are no where near what the were 30 or 40 years ago. Actually its the whole NFL in general that has declined, players, coaches and general managers!!!
Players are making a ridiculous amount of money & it's out of control. These so-called athletes should get paid on their performance & not some 4 year check in advance. Most (not all) give up playing 100% after that big pay day. Especially QB's.

This is where I got it from. OTC is usually pretty accurate. It shows 0 guaranteed salary for 2026, 28 and 28.

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys agreed to a four-year, $240 million extension in new money including an $80 million signing bonus. Prescott's extension has $129 million guaranteed at signing with a total guarantee of $231 million. Prescott's salaries in 2024 and 2025 are fully guaranteed and has one-year early rolling guarantees through the remainder of the contract. Prescott reportedly also received a no-trade clause and no franchise tag clause. The extension lowered Prescott\'s cap number by $11.75 million for 2024. Initial details from ProFootball Talk.

and one of those tds happened because two Niner players took each other out
That's the intent of the crosser. If not have them collide at least throw one or both a half step behind. Play worked as designed, ball delivered perfectly.
