Can Brooks cover because playing opposite Ware that is going to be a high priority for him.

And for the record Brooks has less career sacks than Spencer so I fail to see how he would be an upgrade, if we are replacing Spencer I want a clear upgrade not a FA stopgap.

I like Brooks and think he would make a solid bookend. He can shift inside as well in a pinch. If Brooks is not to your liking who do you want there...Spencer? Another player? Who?

Brooks has the speed to cover. He ran a sub-4.5 coming out of HS. He was a 6-4, 250-lb. kick returner in HS and college.
