Inside line help. Hopefully another year of strength work turns Nagy and Arkin into better backups, and at least one of them a better starter. We get another C through the draft. Probably another guard too.

We probably don't add anyone to the Dline, although we probably should. Need a pass-rusher, a corner, and a safety.

That about it? Anything else?

I'd add to the DL if there's value there. Plus, I think Ratliff could still move to end. It would be nice to add a huge NT.

Good point. As we saw with the drafting of Murray, we kind of like to draft for value.

C, G, NT, FS, ILB (depth) and CB if Newman is a Salary Cap Casualty.

I'd like to see us re-work Newman's contract rather than cut him and then have to go out and find another CB.

Ideal off-season
Pete Konz C University of Wisconsin
Ben Grubbs G Baltimore Ravens
Paul Soliai NT Miami Dolphins
Markelle Martin FS Oklahoma State
Kirk Morrison ILB Buffalo Bills
re-working Newman's contract
re-signing Abram Elam, Anthony Spencer (if cap-friendly),Laurent Robinson, and Mat McBriar

This, I would be willing to give Elam a long cap friendly contract if we can. Robinson needs a contract before the season ends...

Lock him Up? Drive the price up? You're talking about Laurent Robinson this way?

Considering that Miles' hamstring will probably continue to plague him ala Newman's groin, and thereby miss many games, it would be smart to lock up Robinson.

Resigning him before the end of the season should be a priority. He's been a real bright spot this year and is a great fit for the offense. The way he is playing now he could start for quite a few teams and with Austin likely out for the rest of the month, he's going to get even more chances to shine.

There are obvious needs...OL, DL, S, QB of the future...but I would also like to add a TE that can stretch the field. I love what the Packers and Pats do with their TEs. I wsa a big Aaron Hernandez fan when he came out and want a TE with a similiar skill set.

Pretty much agree. Bennett is gonna be gone and Phillips has regressed as a player, although he may not be fully 100% yet. So I can see us taking a TE in April for sure.

QB of the future might be on the roster though.

Besides that catch he made when he took a big hit in his first game what has he really done?
He's got these td's but he hasn't really made any plays
