Hey, Iamtdg. Yeah, I mentioned the user name in the member introductions but neglected to in this thread.

Sheik, I was never one of the twenty posts per day sort of guys so it would be easy to miss me.

Midswat might not even remember inviting me. It was a couple of years ago at a forum called City-Data and he was trolling for Cowboys fans in the sports forum and PMed me after seeing some of my posts in the NFL subforum. I didn't use the exact same username there as at DCC but I easily recognized his name and "distinct" avatar. You know, the one with the inbred looking person.

Anyway, I went through old PMs there and found his so I decided to check in. There are some familiar names around here, for sure.

Yeah, no offense was intended on the vague recollection, it's been 3 years or so since I've been around the DCC.

Honestly, there are only like 3 or 4 guys I can name that haven't registered here. EZ, Booze, Bob Roberts and smitty.

I remember telling you that I hadn't been posting much but I've never not checked out a new Cowboys board and figured it was time.

I noticed they try and run a tight ship over there at C-D. Seems like they have 100 forums and 500 subforums, each with multiple moderators.

I remember something about Thorn going off or what have you and honestly, sometimes I don't think he cared much one way or the other about any one team.

I figured this place would appeal to the CityData folk because they instead just have one giant Dallas Cowboys thread in an NFL subforum. Why not come to a forum dedicated to the team where you can have organized discussions.

Some did register. Most didn't stick around. Probably because of cr122.

I have to say, what hurt most is that I didn't even get a tombstone, just rolled in an unmarked grave.
