Ranked higher means crap. Over the last three years we have given up more yards, especially in the passing game. You are once again subjectively looking at stats to fill your needs. You don't need stats to know our 2009 defense wasn't better than our 2008 or 2007 defense.

As for 2008, you posted garbage that didn't make sense. Articulate your point better next time.

A better season from the offense.

Romo having a good year, and Austin, Witten, and to a lesser extent (but not by much), Dez Bryant.

Felix Jones just over 1000 yards; improved but with room for more improvement.

A good pass rush, but the secondary will continue to struggle.

9-7 or 10-6, winning a wild card game but losing a hard one in the second round.

High end: 9-7 and road wildcard team.

But more than likely 8-8/7-9. Our OL is very suspect with so many young/inexperienced starters and our secondary is, well, our secondary.

So the fact that we gave up less points and ranked higher in overall defense in 2009 than 2007 or 2008 means the defense was worst?

What kind of logic are you using?

My heart says 6-10 but my brain and superior sports IQ says 5-11

I'm sure the team will be worse than last yr. This despite having their probowl QB back, their potential 2nd probowl WR back and not having that doof of a HC in Phillips around for a single game.

X-troll, highly recommend this place for you. Your low IQ and troll mentality fits right in with their atmosphere:

My logic is based on actuality, not how the game was recorded in the stat book. The only thing that was "better" about our 2009 defense was how little they were scored against, but that number is inflated because we faced some inept offenses. Our defense looked great from the New Orleans game to the Philly playoff game, but the 14 other games we played in 2009 were a step back from what we had in 2007.
