I was against voting Obama last election until McCain and Palin landed on the Republican ticket. He was too inexperienced but still a better choice than the other option. It is harder than you think and so far the GOP has failed completely, even Bob recognizes it. Obama has nothing, I vote for the best candidate. I don't vote party, I don't vote to prove anything, and I don't vote for idiots. I don't feel stupid because Obama is still a better choice than McCain. I want to see a good GOP candidate because we should be able to do better than Obama, but as I already said the party is failing.

McCain was my top choice until he picked Palin as his VP. That woman belongs in a reality show and far away from politics. Bringing her in as VP would legitimize her political affluence and keep her around DC for a long time. She was the worst VP pick I've ever seen and stunk of desperation from McCain. That is the move that kept McCain out of the White House, he lost a lot of votes because he made so many doubt his judgement.

Gosh, I'm pretty sure they already have their candidate in Obama. The GOP knows what they are up against and has the ability to bring someone in who can defeat him but are seriously failing at it. This looks just like when Bush was running for his second term against a load of clowns from the Democratic Party.

Success or failure for the Democratic Party is not in the equation because they are not trying to unseat the current president. Try to use a little logic before blindly bashing things.

The Dems did not find a candidate that was better than McCain. There was a huge backlash. After 8 years of one party in power it generally swings the other way. In my life time it has only not happened once and that was after Regan. My fear is that it won't matter who votes for him or not, the dead seem to vote a lot more lately than the living.

He won an election only because America has become stupid as a nation, and didnt bother to do their homework before punching a ticket. I'm not knocking the protestors. I'd be a big fan of them getting student loans wiped out (lol yeah right). But the only thing you ever hear about them in the news is them getting maced or arrested.

What do protestors ever accomplish? It's just a way to get your voice heard and let people know you're fed up. If the movement catches enough fire, it rolls on toward real change somewhere down the line.
