The Tony Romo Chokes Again Thread

I dont think choking had anything to do with it today, like many of the past games similar to this.

Romo is just a helter skelter player. He awes everyone with some of the stuff he can do, but then he also just throws games away with really stupid decisions, many time when he snt even under any pressure from the other team.

It seems that when the huddle breaks, Romo has already decided to whom, and to when, and to where he is going to throw the ball, no matter what. On three occasions (two in this game, and one in the Jets game), he threw the ball before the WR completed his route. In this game, in doing so, it resulted in INTs. In the Jets game he did to Miles at the goal line---threw it right at Miles' back, while Miles was still running his route. Miles only turned around because he felt the ball hit him in the backl, and then Miles had that, "WTF!?" look. In all three cases, Romo was under no pressure, and yet he didn't got through his progressions at all. The following play, he fumbles and the rest is history.

It's funny as to how people say Romo cracks under pressure, but like dbair said, most of his INTs have come when he was facing no pressure.

They do, just not like the quitters who root for this team. The guy is blamed for everything and tons of people want kitna to play...

And the sad part is plays that went bad late are the same plays that were working and have worked....that int to romo has been a staple of what has made this team good, witten and romo have produced big time with that play through the years...ball was just thrown short that time..

Fans need to man up and get behind the team.

Why do you choose to label other fans quitters? Are they walking away and refusing to watch and cheer for this team? I haven't seen one person post on here in a serious manner that Kitna should be the starter. Those types of clowns might be around but they aren't in here and do not represent a majority of Cowboys fans.

Guess what happens when you rely on the same play that works through the years? Teams have film on it, know when/where/why you are going to use it, and plan to stop it. Romo threw off his back foot and it ended up short. He knows the risk of throwing off his back foot and does it anyways. Romo also made the mistake in throwing it where Carp could get the int. His three INTs led to 21 points and are the major reason for this loss. Is there really anyone else to blame besides Romo today?

Fans need to man up and get behind the team? How are they supposed to do that and what does it accomplish? This is a stupid beer commercial phrase that needs to die. There is no such thing as manning up. Men bitch, cry, complain, and gripe, probably more so than women. Do you really think any of these fans are not behind the team? Are any of them cheering for Dallas to lose? Do you think they enjoy wallowing in misery?

Stop trying to change people. If you don't like what is being said don't read it. Tomorrow the tone will change, so maybe just don't come around here on days we lose?

He had pressure on him, just didn't get enough on it...

It's not a reason to act like he didn't make some fabulous plays earlier, and in fact on the robinson int ran and threw the ball exactly the same as the earlier time....

Exactly the same as the earlier time... but the DB realized what was coming this time and stepped up for the INT. Teams make corrections on the fly so you can't do the same thing repeatedly and expect them to not catch on.

They are quitters if they claim they know that Romo will never lead this team to the Super Bowl and that they will never cheer for him again. And yes, it has been posted in here.

I still say we won't know the potential of this team until we can run the ball to compliment one of the best passing offenses in the league.

The interior is garbage. Nagy/Costa/Kosier are weak. Much too weak.

Can the two young guys get much stronger? I don't know, but they aren't good enough in the run game right now.
