Obama knows he's had a shitty 4 years.

America knows it.

The campaign would be eons different if he was proud of the last 4 years. You'd have him running to his record for proof he deserves more. Instead, he's making his campaign about Romney giving people cancer and using scare tactics.

America is about results, we're not a patient group.

How is he not?

Biggest healthcare reform in our history passed, wall street reform, years of job growth after one of our worst recessions ever, all while dealing with the biggest do-nothing congress in America's history which made it clear that their one goal was not making American better for Americans, but doing everything in their power to keep him from getting reelected.

Just because you refuse to acknowledge any of that doesn't mean it doesn't happen or that he and his administration aren't proud of it.

Why is Romney winning this race right now if Obama has done a good job?

Im not saying Romney is going to win, but why is this race so close right now?

Your guess is as good as mine. Americans are stupid and will believe a confidently stated lie rather than take the time to research it themselves. See Bach in this thread. Undecided voters are even stupider. I mean these are people who are basing their takes on these candidates on what they've seen in 90 minutes of tv air time. They are the stupidest people on the planet.

In all honesty though I don't really believe the race is, or will be, all that close.

I see.

4 years ago people were smart. Now it looks like they've become stupid.

Couldn't possibly be the other way around. No way.

And I don't think there are any undecided voters. I think you have a small group of people that want attention. They've made up their minds.

Four years ago women, young people and minorities were excited to vote.

The democrats are way better for most of America but they are TERRIBLE at getting their message out.

When democrats get their message out they attract followers, as soon as they try to implement their pograms they hemorrhage support. Hey free sh1t for everyone sounds like a great idea, to bad no matter how much you give to poor people they are still poor. And no matter how much you take from the rich you cant take enough to make others rich (well beyond a group of lobbyists)

Many Americans are stupid. Some will even vote for the current President even though he claimed he'd cut the deficit in half even though it has instead grown over $1 trillion a year each of the last 4 years and even though the debt has practically doubled. Not to mention gas prices having continually risen and a slew of other broken campaign promises since '08.

I don't think the deficit grew by a million every year. Your inability to understand the difference between deficit and debt is starting to embarrass me.

Mea Culpa. Exceeded not grown. Deficit exceeded $1 trillion for the four years in a row.

Poor sp can't defend his guy for not keeping his promise to cut the deficit all the while the debt has practically doubled. I'd try to run away from that too if I were you.

Oh, and is calling me bach supposed to be derogatory?

Nothing is free. Especially not 20% tax cuts for all Americans which are going to be paid for by...magic? At least with social programs we are aware that there is a cost. How exactly are we going to pay for the free money Romney is promising in his tax plan? Have you read the 10 pages of non specific bullshit on his site where he lays it out? If not what are you voting for him based on? How many economists need to condemn it before you realize something is wrong?

Voting? I am rooting for Romney, not voting for him.
