Some do, some don't. That's why you poll so many to split the difference.

The point is when a poll of the players, writers and fans all state clearly that Jackson is the best, I might have to believe those that can't admit it are just Cowboys homers who can't stand how good he is.

I knew this long before these polls. I knew everyone without bias would agree with me. Because it's not even a debatable issue. Jackson has been that much better than any other the last two years.

DeSean Jackson hasn't been crowned the top WR in this division by the players, writers and fans because of any bias. He's gotten it for just being the best.

That is just one small example of how the poll could be bias toward or away from different players. There are only two Monmouth grads in the NFL while Cal has what looks to be about two dozen. There is also the highlight reels, playoff teams, or flat not paying attention to what other guys are doing. The top 100 is a discussion topic, not a source of evidence on who is actually the best at anything.
