Bill Barr commented on the Trump charges and called it all BS and politics.

Then he floated the theory that the Dems know it has no chance to stick, but actually forced this because they knew it'd garner more support for Trump in primary, and he'll win that and then lose general election. Barr says the Dems know there's one or two candidates they cannot beat (assuming DeSantis is one of the people he is referring to) so they clearly prefer Trump as an opponent.

Not sure I believe it, but probably would not be surprised if it's true. There are people that are die-hard Dems on the legal side that I have seen comment on it this and they agree it has no chance in hell of amounting to anything in court and even if he somehow got a "conviction" in a rigged NY jury it'll get shot down in the higher courts.

I don't believe it. This is just people laying down the narrative for when the Republicans lose in 2024 due to massive fraud (again).

DeSantis is toast. He's all but ruined his political career for listening to his anti-Trump RINO advisors. The reality is that DeSantis cannot energize the base. Nor can any other Republican hopeful. They would lose in a straight up election.

But the talking heads are just getting their talking points for the "reasons why conservatives lost in 2024." Same as the mid-terms when the red wave never happened. Back then it was about candidate quality. All BS......

I just read yesterday that the special prosecutor in the phony Mar-a-Lago documents investigation is also investigating Trump for wire fraud. The claim is that Trump used the election fraud claims to raise money for his campaign which according to the special prosecutor would be wire fraud because the election fraud claims are not true.

But this would mean every time anyone raises money by exploiting an event or injustice would be subject to wire fraud charges because of the possibility the claims are false. For example, "If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor". That was a false claim and Obama raised money on his healthcare claims.

On top of this we now find out that that letter from 50 intelligence officers claiming the Hunter laptop story looked like Russian disinformation was initiated by Anthony Blinken, an advisor to the Biden campaign at the time and Secretary of State today. These people lie to congress and to the American people with impunity and nothing happens to them.

Never lose focus on the true culprits on all of this - the media. The media covers for them. The media justified this behavior. The media is the reason the double standard of justice exists. If the media did their jobs calling out the truth and holding all liars accountable then the country would not be as divided as we are today.

The media in America are the real enemies of the people. If consequences are ever paid for this destruction of American ideals, the media should suffer them first and harshest.
