If Goodell were even a half ass commissioner he'd severely punish Jones for that tirade on the radio. Jones has no right at all to threaten radio hosts for simply questioning THE decision maker on obvious problems with the team. Jones has spent his entire career begging for attention and credit and with that should come due criticism when you fuck up.

He's just been given a media pass by a bunch of pandering pussies for two+ decades, and he thinks that should continue. If he were in NY, Boston or Chicago markets he'd have been run out of town already.

Its time for Jerry to pass the torch, Troy Aikman would make a great GM, he wants to win Championships and players I believe would want to play for him. Also get Dion in there, what a morale booster he would be as head or assistant coach!!!

Has any GM ever held the position this long? Totally obstinate, clinging to an utterly failed system. This guy isn't going to live long enough to see his team have any meaningful success.

He doesn't know, that he doesn't know. This is different from thinking he knows. It's deeper.

Founders' Choice: The Airing of Grievances

Jerry Jones has owned the Cowboys for over 35 years and his list of wrong turns is too long to detail. But, allow me to give my thoughts on his reign.

Jerry's list of accomplishments (in order)

1) Bought team from a lousy ownership.
2) Hired Jimmy Johnson and put him in charge of everything
3) Showed the NFL how to correctly market itself and negotiated the best TV deal in history with a renegade network
4) Hired Bill Parcells to fleece people into supporting his shitpile new stadium
5) Overruled Parcells in 2005 and had them take DeMarcus Ware with their 1st pick in the 1st rd instead of Marcus Spears (who'd they end up getting anyway with their other 1st rd choice)

Pretty sure that's it.
