No but it's the "flagship" for DC football and contractually Jerry gets say in personnel covering the game or reporting on it. He exercised this one time before, firing Dale Hanson from color commentary.

Mafia Don threw a shit fit when Jimmy fired his dipshit son after the 1990 season and basically swore Jimmy would never succeed in the NFL. Then he blocked him from hiring OC Gary Stevens (who was with him at U of Miami).

I think Norv was actually Jimmy's 3rd choice as OC that offseason. Norv got railed on for his time as a HC in Washington and Oakland, but I often wonder how it would have turned out for him had he known Jerry and Jimmy were going to divorce and would have stayed in Dallas. He would have been the HC instead of Switzer and a whole lot of history could have changed.
