Before I was married I dated a girl who was born in China, her parents were taken away from her during the Communist takeover there and for 3+ years she said neither her or anyone else in her family had any idea if they were even alive. They took everything the family had and tried to justify it as "they were an enemy of the state"

Her dad was a music instructor/composer and her mom was a homemaker, real threats to the government. And she said the government did the same thing to thousands and thousands of people.

And here we are in 2023 in the USA, sitting on our asses while our government turns into the exact same thing. Virtually every single thing the Biden administration has done reeks of Marxism.

Whether its Stalin's Russia or Mao's China, we are emulating virtually everything those two horrible people did.

Does anyone believe their projections for cost and energy savings? I think this is total BS. First, saving $11 billion over 30 years divided by the number of families in America does not justify the high price of replacing a regular water heater with one of the new ones. The retrofit is not straightforward and the new units are not cheap.

We are forcing people into inferior technology than what they have to save maybe a penny or two, maybe nothing just to beat our chests in front of the climate wackos.

I've gotten hooked watching these guys, they used to live in China for 10+ years and have some great insight about the country and how fucked up it is. Sounds like a paper tiger because everything they build is shit and effected by corruption. Apparently there are fire hydrants all over the country not connected to anything because no one inspected them, roads just collapse into sinkholes, buildings fall down, thousands died in a tunnel because it flooded and they got stuck in their cars.
