This is true, but there are so many other problems in this country we don't focus on it anymore. The fact is the standardized test scores of American students compared to the rest of the world have declined every year since the created of the DOE. But it is not just because of the DOE. It is because of who has controlled the DOE. States run by liberals are also packing the educational curriculum with woke BS instead of the basics. Kids are not forced to achieve anymore. They are pushed through the system with minimal effort and learning on their part. We graduate kids ignorant of basic math, science and reading skills.

The problem is liberals not the DOE.
