Normally his coverage isnt bad, its that he plays the ball like Stevie Wonder would.
Alot of times he is in great position but he refuses to attack the ball in the air, or has no idea where the ball is at all.
He did play alot better the 2nd half of last yr after Wade got canned though.
Except that isn't true, and it was reported that Nnamdi took less to sign with Philly.

Namdi didnt want to come here. Thats it end of story.
and secondly had he come here by some odd occurence you can just assume newman would be cut or if he was and signed somewhere else that he would get hurt.
its not 1+1.
but what is true is that we are left in a terrible position with no help coming. The only hope is that josh thomas and alan ball play well at corner in the preseason.
unless we make a move for a guy like brent grimes who is restricted but why would we do that for a 4th corner

I just can't believe that after a decade of "This is going to be the season the cap catches up to team X" articles written in the offseason, that people are still buying that shit. It never happens. Never. We are not in cap trouble.
Now, maybe the fact that we aren't in a Buccaneers type cap situation (40+mil under) prevented us from making a Godfather offer to Nnamdi. We made an offer we felt was reasonable, and he picked Philly. If we had gone overboard, and bet the farm on Nnamdi, then you would probably be criticizing Jerry for overspending and mortgaging the future, and damning us to this cap hell (which again....never comes).
So what's the big fucking deal? A free agent picked another team over us. A division rival in fact. And now our #1 corner tweaked his groin. Boo fucking hoo.

I know we'll be under the cap, the problem is Jerry's hands have been tied this offseason because of the cap. We have holes and he has done nothing to address them. The only logical reason behind it is being strapped for cash. I'm glad we were able to get most of our own FAs back but there was nothing added to make this team better. We are in cap hell but you and the others are pretending we are just not reaching for the big fish.
I've wanted Nnamdi all offseason. When he became a free agent I was the guy saying we need to sign him. You can pretend to paint me as a doubter if he had a huge contract, but that isn't the truth.
