Normally I'd agree, and nobody wants a ground war. But the use of chemical weapons does make this a little different than just another uprising IMO. You can be all macho and say that if you're dead, you're dead, but those things cause a horrible death, almost like torture (I mean, torcher).

What we can't do is get in some protracted proxy conflict with the Russians again.

The videos that are out are pretty insane. People flat out just dead in their tracks, babies even. Videos of people convulsing and struggling to breath.

I've never seen what a chemical attack would do to people but this has to be it. Just reading an article, I guess Syria has just been bombarding the fucking area since the attack trying to prevent anyone from getting in there and destroying as much of whatever might be hanging out in there as they can.
