I said it has gone too far, not that a certain amount of empathy is wrong.

I have seen people that lets dogs lick their face. There is no doubt that the dog licked his ass a short time earlier. Why not kiss the dogs ass and avoid the wet face?There has got to be limits on the stupidity. Then it becomrs a question of which animals deserve empathy.
