Sensabaugh’s Versatility Has Big Value

He looked like a different player the last two years though.
Sometimes it takes guys a few years.
Then who will stare at the WR's hands as the ball comes whizzing by his helmet?
Fat Rob might have to tailor his scheme to the roster and use Scandrick as his blitz guy. He's got a knack for it.
Everyone else runs right into someone and gets stonewalled.
Why is everyone in love with Huff? Cause he was a Longhorn?
All I remember of the guy is he's the same safety Rex Ryan benched his last year as DC in Oakland.
I hated watching the NFL Net Replay of the Raiders/Texans game a month ago.
He looked like a bad Alan Ball(the only kind,I know) he was getting killed on running plays and passing. He was mic'd up and they replayed/highlighted all of his bad angle, miss tackles, bad reads and lack of effort plays.
You can't judge a player on one game so hopefully it was an aberration if we acquire him.
Im sure it would be real juicy television to show the plays where he covered his area effectively and forced the QB to checkdown
There are probably a few of those running around after all the cousin raping
Hes a loser. Give that money to Huff and start Deunta or Church at SS
It didn't help any that Stevie Wonder was able to recognize Sta Puft's blitz packages.
Too many opposing OL and QB's were able to say,"oh yeah,we saw this on film"and call out protections.
Ryan's multiple sets & packages should help some of that.
This is definitely true, but at some point we're going to need guys that are just good at blitzing. We can't always rely on the scheme to get them through the LOS.
Wade's blitzes looked ok to me in 2008 and 2009, but the film caught up to him in 2010. While his blitzes did prove to be predictable, the players shouldn't be held without blame.
Just look at Pittsburgh, for example. They've had the same DC and same system in place forever now, but yet the film hasn't caught up with them.
Why is that? Because their ILB's and safeties have always been solid blitzers. Just look at Polomalu, that guy almost never gets stonewalled. Whether he's coming from the corner or shooting through the line, he's almost a guarantee to cause havoc.
We need to find guys who don't need to always depend on smoke and mirrors to cause pressure.
