I think Murray leaves a lot of yards on the field. He doesn't have breakaway speed and I have never seen a RB bypass so many running lanes to find a defensive player to hit. He is a good short yardage back, but I think that drafting a replacement is a smart choice.

He's just not nifty. I agree.

he does and it drives me crazy, but Emmitt had the same problem. hell, he separated his shoulder because he was dragged down from behind.

Isn't strange how, despite all of the above, most of us think Murray is expendable and won't be too difficult to replace?
Yes it is.

Like I say, I was never a huge fan of his, but he turned out to be really good. And I think his toughness was a great example to a lot of teammates. Plus he seemed to have a great rapport with his O-line. So I do think he's going to be hard to replace even if we find someone with pretty much equal pure running talent.

Poor Murray. Guy probably took 10 years off his life running the ball for the Cowboys this season and nobody here wants him. Finally put together a full season without any season ending injuries. He gets the dirty yards, 2 or 3 yards when most running backs would have lost yards. He is patient and follows his blockers. Has been Romos security blanket on check downs. Guy has been a team leader and a professional his entire time with Dallas. Broke Emmitt Smiths record. Lead the Cowboys to a playoff win.

I am not saying i dont agree with some of the comments, but damn...just doesnt feel right to treat him like this and let him walk.

Its like using a chick for your own purposes, fuck her, cum all over her and kicking her out the door.

the remaining four playoff teams have proven that you don't need a RB of his quality in order to succeed. best to spend the money elsewhere.

I think the Packers and Seahawks have pretty damn good RBs myself.

New England has a mutant offense that makes RBs of any quality seem good if they are inclined to give them carries.

It's probably Indy's biggest hole is RB, and it's going to hurt them this week.

We'd be one of the remaining four if it wasn't for the fumble.

Fuck off Murray.

#21 had a good angle. no guarantee he scores.

Had Murray had the chance to SEE 21 coming up, he would have changed course and rammed him. Seen him do it repeatedly.

I would love if we got 2 good seasons out of AP. Beyond that, RBs are easy to replace if you have a good oline.

Murray had low mileage on him as it was before this year. He'll be okay in Jacksonville.

Yeah seeing I from that angle, its wasn't the TD that Buck and Troy were going on and on about for sure.

But losing the ball there did impact the game without question.

the fumble aside, that's some damn impressive blocking

we were so so at best running in the first half, but we were really opening some nice holes in the 2nd half...

Imagine Dorsett with that play. TD Tony. Because nifty Dorsett would have cut outside behind 65's block, and been gone.

Would have been a D with a back with speed.
