I wasn't offended either. Truth be known, most African- Americans display manufactored anger in front of Whitey just to make him feel guilty. I have used the word when talking about those people, but I have used it as an insult for trashy white people too. The word is not exclusive to only one race, but the blacks want to own it to keep racial tension up.

Personally i don’t think Riley is racist. He got mad and knew an insult that works on the colored. Kind of like when i call my wife fat when we argue. I don’t think she is, but it gets her pissed. I don’t see how you can play a team sport with different races and be racist.
