Now that Bowen is gone.

Man you really need to get off this Jenkins mess. Jenkins got his ring, he's content. Now he wants to get PAID. And he'll be even more content. His best year of his career was last year, and not a coincidence it was a contract year. You'd be a fool to think that he will have the same type of year from here on. Not to mention, he was in a good place with the best 3-4 DC in Capers.

Do you think we could afford two bowen like contracts for jenkins and spears though....it doesnt seem like we can or would.

So I imagine we end up with 1 of those two and coleman.

No to Igor. And I don't think that we would have to give that sort of contract to Spears like what was given to Bowens.

Bowen really doesn't fit the prototype of a 1st down, run-plugger in a 2-gap, 3-4. Though his value lied in his ability to rush the passer, it wasn't a guaranteed, 12.5 mil type of pass-rush.

I like bowen the same way I liked kenyon coleman in 06.

The jets decided as a full time player coleman was worth any penny...then he was sent to cleveland with eric mangini who loved him.

I wouldnt be suprised to see the same with bowen. I love bowen though and this sucks for us.

on a side note, I bet we get coleman back all these years after parcells pulled him from the raiders practice squad. He will be a good role player here.
