Beat the man in front you. Let the other team be flexible. We're going to FIGHT, SCRATCH, CLAW, BITE, SPIT, KICK, SCREAM, AND CATERWAULER! Just a sidenote, I always thought scratching and clawing were the same thing? If you claw someone, aren't you scratching them and vice versa?

Not necessary --- if you beat the man in front of you. We're going to FIGHT, SCRATCH, CLAW, BITE, SPIT, KICK, SCREAM, AND CATERWAULER!

Telling the players to beat the man in front of them...you can't get any more involved than that. We're going to FIGHT, SCRATCH, CLAW, BITE, SPIT, KICK, SCREAM, AND CATERWAULER!

Yeah, but he's going to OUT-stand, OUT-watch, and OUT-clap the other coach.

long time no see LL, hope life is treating you FAR better than jeri and spawn and their shitty team treat us fans

garrett is a button pusher.. when something goes wrong, the only thing he knows how to do is either A) stop pushing the button, or B) push the button harder.

if all else fails, C) push button repeatedly.

or...

D) Reboot

Jerry doesn't deny interest in Urban Meyer. Optimism levels rising!

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones wants to clarify: He’s not ruling out potential interest in Urban Meyer.

Jones was asked Tuesday morning whether he and Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones had met with the former Ohio State, Florida and Utah coach as speculation heats up about Jason Garrett’s job security.

“That’s not correct,” Jones told Dallas radio station 105.3 The Fan. “I can confirm that it is absolutely not correct. We have not met with any coach. We have not met with any coach, not met with any.”

Jones was careful to note that “in answering that question, I don’t want to imply that we wouldn’t in a way that would diminish the credibility of a player or somebody you’re asking about.”

The Cowboys take a 6-7 record into a home matchup this week with the Los Angeles Rams. Despite Dallas’ losing record, it remains atop the NFC East. Philadelphia improved to 6-7 with a win Monday over the Giants, but Dallas has the tiebreaker after winning the first meeting between the rivals in Week 7. The teams face off on Dec. 22.

“Normally when someone says ‘Have you met with such and such?’ ‘Are you interested in such and such?’ the implication is you’re not interested,” Jones said. “That shouldn’t be brought forward either.

The article goes on to talk about the Cowboys as a whole, so click the link if ya wanna read the rest of it.

Key words "have you MET WITH"

Several of the media reporters (including Slater) are saying the Jones' had phone conversations with Meyer.

What you all think about university of washington huskies head coach becoming hc for cowboys? Since there some rumors about that , that is the reason why he resigned to go for nfl coaching.

Time to clean house and bring in a new voice, with no ties to the Cowboys especially to the championship years.

He didn't need to resign weeks ago to be available to come to Dallas.

Cowherd says people he knows believe the reason Petersen walked away is because he is burned out and needs some time off.

Tim Cowlishaw's take on the Urban Meyer to Cowboys reports:

Pretty good clip except for Cowlishaws last beef about Jones, where he says a new coach "has to put up with the owner talking about an Urban Meyer with 3 games to go"

Jones didnt bring that stuff up to the media, in fact he denied it (all be it with semantics) to everyone in the public. Jones has given Garrett every chance in the world to get the job done and all he ever does is fail. No one needs to blame anyone but Garrett for people talking about new coaches in Dallas. 10 years of his garbage and he hasn't sniffed a conference championship game.

Marcus Spears filling in for SAS on his ESPN radio show talking Jerry and Garrett today. Nutshell is that according to Spears anybody who wasn't one of Jerry's boys caused a quiet resentment in the locker room. Examples of who he named as Jerry's boys were: Carrot, Witten, (and this is for you Doomsday) Romo. Very interesting segment in the second hour if you want to check the podcast.

He also said things like Carrot and Romo attending Duke basketball games together were bad optics and for the moral of the rank and file.

Eh, all that "visiting big time coaches" was never anything but a dog and pony show.

Hence why people like Dez and T.O. were kicked out and then ripped to shreds by the Jones' in the media. Pathetic and sad.
