Hope you didn't think it was a knock when I said he looked like Harvey Martin out there.

NICE drive, Vaughan's duck he threw was because he was hit as he threw. But what a pass to follow that up, then great touch on the TD pass.

#60 was a bright spot on the DL too, started and played the entire game. I like alot of what I saw tonight, disliked alot of what I saw too.

He's still a D-2 college QB but he's a sponge and has alot of upside to him. Would really like to see him get more snaps than we've seen.

If we keep 3 QB's I'd take Vaughan over Hanie. If he goes to the practice squad we'll lose him for sure.

Yep, agreed on both counts. I know for sure Sean Payton will snap him up if we expose him, and that's just one of the three teams who made Vaughan FA offers.

Maybe Hanie can play well enough to be some trade bait, maybe garner us some help on defense?

I think you GOTTA keep three QBs on the final roster, with Romo's back being a possible time bomb.

Hanie should be here for no other reason than to be a warm camp body and play with the future shoe salesmen littering the roster.

There is a reason he has been on five teams in seven years and has a career QB rating of 41.

The term developmental QB is thrown around a lot. They have one sitting in their lap without wasting a Stephen McGee debacle pick to get one.

Yep if they have three years of a roster spot and time to waste on a Mcgee, they should have a roster spot at least, for Vaughan.
