Heady player. Great motor.

I can see that. Bequette kind of reminds me of Jarret Johnson (Baltimore, Alabama).

I want a defensive lineman at our spot. We need someone who can make Eli pay for stepping up to avoid SuperWare.

1. We won't take Kuechly because of Carter.
2. I'd rather have Carr or Finnegan than any of the corners.
3. there is no value at interior linemen at our spot. If you hate "reaching for a need" then you hate an interior OL at our pick.

Where is the cutoff at which drafting a G in the 1st round is no longer taboo?

Makes sense. Iupati was like 17th overall, as was Hutchinson.

Dammit. If only Dallas had won 1 more game they could consider drafting a projected Pro Bowl G and not have to worry about what other people would say about them.

So, 3 or 4 picks later would be okay?
If that's the case, I think that's retarded. A reach would be if he had a second round grade and we took him at 14. Not if we took him 3 spots ahead of where he should go. You have to reach a little sometimes when you're not on the clock for 32 picks.

Well, I remember Jerry saying that the front seven was one of the strengths of the team. Assuming he wasn't lying through his teeth (big if), that would seem to make CB and OL a higher priority than DT.

That's what scares me, Jerry saying it's a strength. He said the same damn thing about the OL a couple of years ago.

If Decastro is dat dude. I don't think he is, so no.

He's the best guard to come out in years. Draws comparison to Steve Hutchinson.

He's as safe a pick in the draft as there is. And he fits a glariing need.

I honestly don't get why anyone would be against signing him, other than just to be a contrarian of sorts.
