If they did a poll of 32 NFL GM's on if they would rather have Gurode or Costa as ther starting Center right now, 31 GM's would pick Gurode.

If they did a poll of 32 NFL starting QB's on the same question, 32 would pick Gurode.

The offense was our strong point going into this season but now the line is going to hurt us. Romo has a quick release, it's going to need to be quicker.

You are blindly speculating. You dont have a clue how many people would want Costa over Gurode or vice versa, except for one.

The guy who's the HC here.

0 percent? No.

Are these guys ready to be starting offensive linemen on a playoff caliber team. Same answer.

You have no idea.

We'll just have to see how it plays out. But the Chargers made a similar OL type move in 2004, and the results (with Hudson Houck as OL coach) were outstanding.

Not the same thing. They signed 2 veteran free agents.

Dbair, fuck Hudson Houck. He should follow these guys (Davis, Gurode and Colombo) next year.

He just might be done.

Whomever is coaching them today though is doing a pretty good job. The OL looks vastly improved.

So did we, Free and Kosier

Yeah that's the same thing.

and good thing we did or we would be starting Arkin and Parnell, along with Costa, Nagy, and Smith.

I'm betting you'd still be telling us how wonderful that is.

This is the kind of move the Patriots and Eagles get fellated for (getting rid of aging underperforming vets and taking a chance on younger, cheaper, hungrier options).

Maybe we are kind of rebuilding. Lord knows the line needed it.

We definitely are.

This just just like 04. You don't go 6-10 without repercussions.

The difference between this year and 05 is that we have talent at all skill positions from veterans so if the young guys hold up we will compete all year long.

And of course most of the media here are morons and they just run around talking about superbowls. Yet we are correcting mistakes or at least admitting them and trying with these moves but it's still not enough for these morons, even though it is exactly what they always want.

The station the cowboys are on 105.3 the fan is beyond dumb. They don't have a single person on the radio who has a clue, yet they run the pre game and the post game with these idiots.

No matter what they do they are wrong. It's obvious Garret and his staff wanted to start laying down a foundation with a different atmosphere and the guys who don't fit are out. Other teams have done this with key players in place and have had success, we will see how it works out but it's not the craziest idea that we could be good, but it doesn't look like we are an upper level team anymore.

Hopefully this will all pay off for us very soon.
