I'm watching Florida's D vs Texas A&M's O and this DE from Florida, Lerentee McCray, is giving Jake Matthews fits. Has to move to OLB at the next level.

Man, I know we already have Sean Lee and Bruce Carter and the staff appears to be very high on Alex Albright at ILB, but I would love to come away with Sio Moore. Dude can blitz, drop back into coverage and run sideline to sideline.

Gil Brant. Motherfucker.

I'm somewhat liking your new mock, particularly the Thomas and Bailey pick. I'd substitute Margus Hunt for Ansah, though. You been harping about how the Cowboys passed up on J.J. Watt, well they could redeem themselves by taking Hunt, hell.. he's a white Julius Peppers. I am leery about taking an RB in the 3rd.

I'd been on the Warmack bandwagon from day one, but I don't think there is such a huge dropoff if any from Warmack and Baily.

Hunt + Bailey > Warmack.

THIS is why we should move back to the 4-3. And then draft Huint and let him man the other DE spot opposite of Ware, with Hatcher and Lissemore as the DTs.

As far as a RB in the 3rd round, I look at the Seahawks having Lynch and Robert Turbin, the Texans having Arian Foster and Ben Tate, the steelers having that 1st round pick and Jonathan Dwyer, the Eagles having Shady McCoy and Bryce Brown, the Giants having Aahmad Bradshaw and David Wilson, the Saints having Pierre Thomas and Mark Ingram and I want that for the Cowboys too. Plus Murray is no sure bet to play in 16 games and having a RB who is able to step into the void and give our offense the balance we'll lose with Murray out would be a huge plus.

Our O is so dynamic with a good RB on the field.

Mingo really explosive off the edge.

Montgomery was fairly quiet in first half, has picked it up alot in 2nd half. But Mingo looks like the more explosive pass rusher. Has the type of frame and athletic ability where he could potentially be a dominant 3-4 rush guy as well as a down RDE in a 4-3.

Pretty sure we'll have no shot at Mingo if he comes out. Almost a sure thing to be top-10, maybe even top-5

Montgomery will probably be there, or in the area where we draft. Not as interested in him personally.

Eric Reid did not have a good game tonight. Made a couple of nice tackles but played the ball poorly in the air, got beat a few times pretty bad and had costly pass interference call.

LSU lost, but had Mingo stayed in the whole 2nd half, they probably wouldnt have. That combined with some really awful offensive calls late in the game cost them. I think they had 8 three and outs on offense tonight. LSU has scary team speed on defense.

You surprised that LSU's offense flubbed?

Eric Reid's stock has really taken a hit this year. Even before this year there were questions about his head for the game. He tends to lose the plot often.

A lot of love for Tahj Boyd on twitterverse. Some even speculating he might be the best qb pro prospect in this weak qb draft. Wonder if he's a darkhorse for #1 overall.

I don't know if I want my top overall pick to be a 26 year old rookie.

That's a great and very valid point. But it didn't stop us from taking Newman at #5 when he was 24.

Is Hunt really dominant, or is he just able to dominate 19-20 year old opponents who havent finished growing.

Hmmmm.......

Honestly I'm not impressed with him. Took alot of huge hits and kept getting up, so he is tough.

But he doesnt appear to have a very good arm. Seemed like most of his completions were dink and dunk junk

In a way, yeah. Am surprised they could run better than they did. They had a few nice runs, but gettign stuffed by Clemson's defense is pretty sad.

After what I saw of him in games this year, then again last night I probably wouldnt draft the guy in the first three rounds. Somebody probably will because of his rep and he will probably workout at the combine fine, but on the field and especially against the pass, he doesnt look like much to me.

Baccari Rambo is the best playmaking safety in this class, and nobody is close to him.
