I don't think he's good at developing young players. I think he makes odd personnel decisions, especially at QB. I think he's overrated as a coach, primarily because of his animated personality. I think he needs a strong GM, which we certainly do not have.

I think we'd see gains in the short-term, including possibly immediately. He could be a guy to get us to the SB. But long term I think we'd be fcked. Which, really, is no difference that what we are now... so maybe it wouldn't be that bad afterall.

I do agree somewhat about his personnel decisions, and I hate how his offensive play calls take about 30 seconds to make. Wonder how long it would take Dez to learn all that.

But I think we could do a lot worse.

Dez wasn't utilized until the 4th quarter against Cinci. And this is a team with Newman and Pacman aka two of the shittiest CBs in the entire league.

Last year, the Giants made it a point to throw at anyone Newman was covering, even if it was their 5th receiver on the depth chart. Of the 2500 reasons that Ginger is useless, one is that he has zero ability to exploit these types of mismatches.

its clear that garrett isnt capable of scheming ways to win..i feel like he would be a great coach if he had all the pieces..but thats not the case here
