Thats exactly it.

We gave those guys contracts that NOBODY in the league would have given them. The Bengals didn't retain Livings when they had plenty of cap room to do so. The Panthers didn't retain Berny after having one of the worst oline's in the league to which he was a backup to.

Meanwhile posters on this site clamor for Winston, Clabo, Smith and co.

Plenty of people with cap space lining up to give those shitholes money, amirite?

I would have liked to have added another guard in case McKenzie falls down again in the weight room.

From the teams perspective they have too many interior players I bet.

Frederick, costa, Mack, livings, Leary, kowalski, cook and arkin.

Last summer we had no center for the preseason, this summer we have four guys to play center.

I imagine Frederick, costa, Mack, livings, Leary make the team fir sure.

Kowalski and Leary could be active game day backups at guard, unless they keep cook then Leary is probably inactive if kowalski makes the team.

just want to say I really knocked it out of the park here via the "bitching just to bitch" attitude alot of people have here. People's positions are so self-contradictory on here (understandable, we have a frustrating team that noone seems to know how to fix) that it's maddening sometimes. I just wish ya'll would self-reflect every once in a while.

i'll go watch a few youtube videos on it. :)

While you're at it watch a few more videos about WTC7 for me. I want to get another perspective on this magical fire that causes buildings to perfectly implode. Get back with me tomorrow on it.

Thanks...

No.

in the last three years we've spent two first rounders, and probably 7-10 more picks/contracts/trades on the offensive line. Ultimately that's gonna make or break Garrett this year. If his master plan comes together in year three of the Oline makeover, we'll be pretty fucking good and we'll all be happy he's our HC for the future. If it doesn't we'll start over. But we have thrown a ton of resources at the problem. Hopefully it works.

I said it pre-draft but regardless of how you feel about the moves we did make a significant investment at guard last offseason.

Except nobody was happy with those signings. They were dismissed as band-aids on a gaping wound. Jerry didn't want to sign Nicks, so he went with two (relative) cheapies with less than stellar reputations.

and FYI in 2011 our pass defense was worse than our rush offense so it was the right move at the time arguably.

someone trancribed Ckowski's interview today, might have given us a tip on who we're projecting as our starting 4 up front.

DL no picks? ... We like our group. Spenc Ware Rat Hatcher. Young players with upside: Lissemore & Crawford. After that we have unknowns but hopefully one of the unknowns will step forward.

Hatcher at DT, guess Spencer really will play end.
