I'm pretty sure JJ stands for Just Jag.

He is a Shante Carver type reach at 9. I would take him ONLY IF we traded down twice. Taking him before pick 20 is a mistake.

Most people I've seen have Watt rated within their top-20, and alot of them think that outside of Dareus he's the best 3-4 DE in the draft.

As for Carver, almost every draft guide and guru had the guy rated as a late 1st rd/early 2nd pick in 1994. He ended up being a suck player (mostly due to severe alcoholism) but he got drafted right about where he was supposed to go that yr. He wasnt a "reach"

All I know is that theogt was horribly wrong when he predicted Chris Johnson's career. I wonder if he'd still take him before the 5th round lol

Not defending the guy or anything, but you can find players everyone is grossly wrong about, including the draft "experts" as well as highly paid employees of all 32 teams.

I don't know why I'm supposed to be comforted with the thought that Jason Garrett and Rob Ryan will have some say in who we draft.

I must have missed when they became proven talent evaluators.

I dont know how much say either has had in their positions previously. I'm sure coordinators have some say, but I suspect not alot.

With Garrett this is really his first rodeo.

If anything, Garrett screwed the pooch going to bat for Felix Jones. Leaving Johnson, Mendenhall and Rice still on the board.

People keep saying this, but if we had drafted any of those other guys the results wouldnt be dramatically (if any) different because this OL hasnt been all that good at run blocking for quite some time.

Johnson and Rice both run behind two of the better offensive lines in football, and the Stealers get away with more holding than anyone.

Rhinehoss or something that. That was the name of the guy who made a ginormous issue about Terrell Suggs and how he couldn't play in the NFL with his slow 40 and shuttle times. Not even as a situational pass rusher. Over and over again he beat that drum with me on a daily basis.

Then right about the time Suggs was winning Defensive Rookie of the Year, he disappeared. No doubt created a new persona to avoid the embarrassment.

What a POS.

That's what I'm afraid of it's run the other way.

Look at a team like New England they almost never make mistakes in the draft.

It's because they run things the way it should be.

Except the whole drafting good players part.

Hey Tom Brady is in his 30's, you have a ton of picks. Go get Julio Jones

I agree with that. The Patriots could draft Ponder or Locker having two first round picks, shit they may even take Ponder at 33.
