Cowboys are in a sweetspot to trade back. I would trade back no lower than #15 with the Patriots, and snag either Surtain or Horn.

With Quinn onboard, I'm hopeful and suspect that he will not ignore the safety position. Pitts is a luxury that is not needed; not enough balls to go around. Personally I'm hoping that Pitts is around at #10, because that would really make interesting trade back scenario.
Great plan on Surtain or Horn at 15, but I don't think the other 14 teams are going to cooperate. I think it's a pretty solid lock both are gone by 15.

As for Pitts at 10, if he makes it to there I think you run the card to the table with his name on it and don't look back. Sensational player who definitely adds a dimension to the offense that isn't there, in addition to accounting for likely loss or Gallup or Cooper in the very near future. One of them is not going to be here in 2022. We still have 9 other picks to address defense, as well as whatever free agents remain that we could sign (and there's still quite a few name guys available)

Get ready for us to draft the next Sean Lee

We gonna draft Caleb Farley and have another player that “could have” had a great career if he didn’t struggle with being injured all the time

Lee missed 58 games in his career due to injury

I wonder what the over/under is on Farley

from what ive seen farley is supposed to be a late 1st. been getting mocked to titans, bears, and colts

not sure how much i buy that. gotta believe the injury drops him 1 round at least

severe lack of medicals this year has been tough to deal with. jerry mentioned this recently. the cowboys have probably been sniffing around farley as much as any other team but hopefully they dont pull the trigger on him in the 1st 2 rounds. 3rd round and beyond then why the fuck not?

my fav pick would prob be surtain but looking at all DB's drafted from alabama and i dunno. the thing pundits have kept saying is "no DB will ever be coached better than they were coached at bama under saban". diggs and marlon humphrey are from bama. eddie jackson and minka fitzpatrick are from bama.

then there is jc horn.... the last decent DB to come out of south carolina was stephon gilmore almost 10 yrs ago

not sure the right answer i just hope surtain/horn dont suck if he's a cowboy

Jerry likes him some gimps and problem children

Look for us to take Farley in round two with our annual fuck it, why not pick

Actually it'd be the other 4 teams. The previous 9 teams would have already picked. You might be right though. Possibly get leaped frog. Philly will take one of those CBs. It'd be risky. Just saying, I'd trade back no lower than 15.
