You don't think Garrett had a hand in selecting Weeden? Weeden s a Garrett-type QB.

Exactly

Not only that but he has elite receivers and runners.

Colt McCoy is shit but the redskins coaches did an incredible job coaching an offensive gameplan to beat us.

Weeden is what he's always been and wearing a star on his helmet doesn;t take that stink away. If this is all we're going to get out of Weeden, then just play Vaughan so at least we see if he has anything.

Fuckers told me they were all drinking Bacardi 151 when they were drinking some fire water stuff.

I had 5 shots of Bacardi 151 and 50 ounces of Stella Artois.

Trying my hardest to pull myself together so I can go home. 2 waters, 2 coffees. Still slurring my speech, but my typing is improving.

Garret works under the impression that his system is a one size fits all. It's a shit system with an even shittier game plan and play calling; Romo has just made it half-way workable.

Maybe, but at the time he was signed they still believed Orton would be here to be the #2 QB. I think the intent was to have Weeden help with the throwing load of offseason and TC, and then see if he was worth keeping as the 3rd so he could be the #2 next year.

did someone say they're both hurt that bad? if so, thats a wrap, season over

I guess they are saying now McClain may end up ok, but Crawford may have MCL damage. Would assume both getting MRI's and would probably assume both guys are out next week.

Crawford's definitely looked worse

Truth is... I no longer feel mad about this loss. I was more pissed about the Redskins beating us. I'm over that as well.

I think 8-8 is a real possibility.

This team will get pushed around by Jacksonville with no Romo.

Goals they should have for next couple weeks:

1) Win next weeks game. They blew whatever pad they had by blowing these two home games. Hopefully Romo, Free and Leary can all play.

2) Get healthy, hope that both McClain and Crawford can make it back. The other Crawford may be close to getting back too (the ugly one) and then there's the Josh Brent situation. If Crawford is going to miss significant time it def opens up some room. Nick Hayden was obviously hurt today too, although he played through it.

3) Get rid of team/lockerroom distraction Joseph Randle. There's absolutely no reason for him to be on the team any longer. The team was obviously distracted by it during this past week and it boiled over on a Friday before a very important home game. Randle may be a better receiver and special team guy than Ryan Williams, but it isn't so much of a difference that it warrants allowing him to be a distraction for a very young team with playoff hopes.

4) May be getting close to time to start thinking about limiting the playing time of guys like Brandon Carr and Barry Church. Both have stuck out like sore thumbs the last two weeks with missed tackles and bad coverage. Both are repeatedly targeted too.

5) Not sure what is out there, but Weeden was so bad today that they probably need to look around.

Hopefully Romo plays.

Like I mentioned during the game, the one encouraging thing was it appeared Romo was ok despite standing around on the sideline all day. Seemed to be moving ok and didn't look like he was in tremendous pain.

If we can get Leary and Free back, hopefully Romo can go.

Need to think about turning Church into a LB and getting a real FS in here.

I don't know about every down type LB, but I've always though maybe his best role would be a nickel/dime type LB that only plays in the short areas.

Still have hopes for Wilcox, seems like to me he is making progress, albeit small steps. But he seems like he gets a little better every week.
