That was really weird. As much as they were blitzing, Dez should've feasted.

I couldn't help wondering if his head wasn't in the game with his switch of agents and all. Maybe he's thinking about his money?

Did they put Dez in motion even once tonight?

We really need Dlaw to be the real deal. Not having an edge rusher able to quickly turn the corner is killing us.

It's crazy how we have not a single guy outside of him capable of doing that. I really like Lavar Edwards, but if he's your nickel rusher off the bench, you have issues.

Your reasons for blaming Romo are what exactly? It's just like you see 5 sacks, and Gruden said something, so it's Romo's fault. We still converted 5 of 12 3rd downs. What about personnel groupings? Do some actual critical thought instead of your usual blame Romo schtick.

Hence why I've said numerous times- "plenty of blame to go around"

They didn't seem to change anything after halftime and to me it appeared they tried to do exactly the same thing in the 2nd half as they did in the 1st.

6 and 2 is better than I thought would be but Garrett is still exactly the same coach. No real authority whether it's a rogue QB he can't get to run the ball (bs) or an owner who feels the need to go back and forth between the sideline and owner's box.

The shine is off and I'm not sure if we beat Arizona next week. Apparently, if a defense is aggressive and just wants to blitz us, we have to let them keep doing it.

Why do other teams have "exotic" blitzes that seem successful against us and when this team blitzes usually they find an OL to run into?

On the blitzes, Tony might not have even been thinking straight with his back and the painkiller for it.

Another reason Weeden should've probably stayed in. But that's a tough call to not send the franchise back in.

Wasn't a tough call for Jerruh

But it was the wrong call.

Re: Murray's carries... I wouldn't be surprised if he was hurting out there if not outright injured. He got up pretty slowly once late in the first half IIRC. Wouldn't even be shocked if he had a concussion, or close out there. Might be why he missed some blitz pickups that he usually gets.

But I hate to say this, but that's why you limit his carries, because you don't know when you might need to *really* lean on him. For instance if Weeden had to play a few games.

BTW, ESPN says Tony just has a back contusion. Awesome news if true.

Did Jimmy limit Emmitt's carries?

Yeah, Bowles had to be drooling watching that game.

And now we're on a short week *and* went to overtime to boot. Gonna be tough for the guys physically.

You only said that after I called you on your bullshit. If you don't want to do the critical thinking on the QB and what he should and shouldn't be blamed for, then just say so.

Haslett has been doing this to us for years, and we always act like it's the first time we've see it. Why they didn't anticipate it or have a strategy in place is a disgrace.

Murray is no Emmitt. He's already never made it through a season healthy.

And he's on pace for more carries than Emmitt ever had anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for running it as much as we can with this O-line. I just think other guys need to get the ball more.

espn saying Ronald Leary has a groin injury in addition to Durant's injury

Leary would be a bigger loss than Free IMO
