Haven't been keeping up, La'El hurt or shitty?

They've only been keeping 7 OL active for quite some time now. Collins technically is a G only, so Bernadeau and Weems (who both play multi positions) are the only ones active.

Bernadeau pretty much has to be active because he is a G and C. I suspect Weems' days are numbered though.

Just saw Terrell Suggs done for the yr with another Achilles tear. Did it at the end of the game.

His career might be over now.

jeez, who do we have for DL?

Yeah, that's kind of weird. A lot of talk about how good some of these young DL are and they're all inactive it seems like.

Can't figure this one out either. Blue chip talent at OT at LSU, but we're refusing to play him at OT or groom him as an eventual replacement for Free. Going with journeyman scrubs like Jordan Mills instead or young scrubs like Dariem Weems. Instead opting to keep him second or third string at guard. Makes no sense to me. Something doesn't add up.

I don't remember who the QB was but I'm pretty sure Terrell Suggs targeted some QB's knees in the preseason.... want to say it was Bradford.

Karma is Suggs blowing his Achilles week one and missing the rest of the year. Can't stand Suggs. Him and Ray Lewis ... hated them for years.

Lions rookie RB Ameer Abdullah had a good debut even though Lions choked and lost. Clearly outplayed Melvin Gordon. Gordon didn't do much and also fumbled (lost it)

I'd say no, since we kept him over some other talented young DL.

Speaking of, is Ben Gardners career really over or did he ever sign with anyone?

Last I heard he still had not signed with anyone, not even on someone's practice squad. Kinda a headscratcher.

That NFC West could be tough. Both wildcards could come from there unless they beat each other up.

Rams, Seattle, and Cardinals.... Three physically intimidating teams.

They clearly thought he was going to beat out Leary, that's why they left him at G the whole time.

And before the draft, some of the write ups on Collins suggested his best position was inside at G in the pros.

It's obvious they like his talent; which is why he sticks around. But being inactive is not a good sign. And we all heard the rumors of him being a headcase with no skins on the wall to back it up. Perhaps he has not matured yet.
